This is the original SD GG #200 RX-78-2 kit, which I bought long time
ago and never really got around it. I've always been a fan of the SD
series especially the newer releases. My plan from beginning was to make
the older ones on par or at least close to the newer ones.
When I bought the SD FA-78-1 kit it came with an extra head, skirt and the front pieces of the feet. So to make long story short I decided to use them to revamp the old SD Gundam. Since I recently bought the newer SD RX-78, I decided to paint this one in G3 scheme My 2nd and 3rd real Gunpla builds.
I know many likes the older SD kits for what they were, cute and chubby, but to me the newer SDs gives them the tough look while still retaining their cute look. Also there were few little mistakes here and there, paint bleeds due to bad masking. Never the less, quite happy with the outcome and it basically turned out as I hoped.
